Agonizing over my next jersey purchase. Sororkin or Dobson?? - Vukota
The obvious answer, is that you should buy one of each.

The Calgary Flames are winless against the @NYIslanders in overtime games dating back to 1985.
The teams have played 8 overtime games against each other in that span. #Isles

Yashin maybe not captain material but he was a great player. We overpaid him but I still have a tough time with Islander fans crapping on the guy. - Cptmjl
Same.. he was producing right up to when we let him loose.. and the only reason they did that was b/c they were trying to entice Ryan Smyth to stay by dangling a "C" on his jersey. |

As soon as there was no call for the blatantly obvious penalty of goaltender interference with only seconds remaining in regulation time, it was obvious that the referees were determined to let the Islanders back into the game. The OT result was a foregone conclusion.
Markstrom was pretty awful at times during the game, but the refs sealed the deal. |

I believe we recently have a pretty putrid record against them in regulation. |

You mean the islanders didn’t get back into the game by dominating the 3rd period and scoring two goals? It was the refs no call at the end of regulation that got them back into the game 🤣🤣 |

I just remember Kadri bear hugging Pelech and throwing him to the ice behind the net in the first and thinking wow how do you not call that? It was so (frank)ing blatant and right in front of the ref. They really let a lot of stuff go last night. |

Well the NHL does favor major-market original 6 teams like the Isles |
