Gallant is under a lot of pressure now. This season could get late early where they could be in trouble. The east is loaded. The whole division won again lol cept us of course

Ya know for a team that pushes the “No Quit in NY”. I guess that should be for a team like the Islanders. This team shows very little battle and I tell ya for a team that just gave up a 2 goal lead last game and to come out in the 3rd period and give up a goal 14 seconds in is putrid. You knew for sure that game was going to be either tied or lost by the end of it.

Only thing on their side right now is time. Still 68 games left. But the east is much better this year. They wont sleepwalk into the playoffs like last year

Time to put the kid line back together as the third line. That’s what they are unfortunately , they can chip in a goal here and there. Got to figure out the first two lines real soon as everyone around them seems to be winning. Something is missing with this group , hope it wasn’t Strome .

That’s the biggest thing to me. The rangers haven’t replaced the losses of Copp, Vatarano, motte and Braun. That depth is what made this team so good throughout the playoffs. Could roll 4 lines and get solid production though out the lineup. Also allowed them to roll the kid line and get great matchups. I know they didn’t have the cap space but it’s costing them now
