What are they doing on that play? Vegas has the puck and all three Leafs fly the zone? Like Liljegren in particular . . . how do you just not do your job in the least?
They have to stop starting Matthews / Marner in OT. - Monkeypunk

It was Marner, but also Rielly being the only defenceman on the ice obviously thought it suitable to skate off into the neutral zone and stand there. - joel878
3 on 3 is pretty much man coverage. Reilly had a guy in front of him. Not sure what Marner was thinking/doing. He is usually solid position wise but was weak on the last 2 goals. |

Don’t like all the positive spin the tsn panel put on this game. Leafs should’ve won. To many costly errors that led to all the goals tonight. They need to tighten that up. |

Why is Marner always trying low percentage passes at 3 on 3?
FFS, just hang on to it. |

I can't disagree with that, but his effort in doing so was awful. Not that Marners was any better. |

That evander Kane injury looks reminiscent of the mikhayev injury a couple years ago. I wouldn’t be surprised if hes outlet 4-6 months. |

For who though? I don't see them moving Parayko anytime soon. Faulk I don't think so either. Maybe Tarasenko or O'Rielly if they think they are totally out of it.

Sorry between reconnecting with my favourite beer vendor and the game I was not on here at all.
Good game to be at, poopity ending.
Our goalie kept us in it and essentially stole a point for us.
I’m home now and cracking the “free” beers. :/) |

Oh I passed the 6 mark before dinner arrived.
Loose Moose at 3 pm
Scaddabush dinner rezzy for dinner 515
Then the game.
The Leafs stole a point - Vegas had way more high danger opportunities but Kalli was really good.
Vegas wasn’t better (despite what others may say) they were gifted chances by the Leafs. If I was a Vegas fan I’d be upset they didn’t win in regulation. They failed to execute on breakaways and point blank chances. For a team that has won 7 in a row they sure looked very beatable from a Leafs team who clearly did not have their A game tonight.
Prediction - Vegas gets bounced in 1st round of playoffs - ya I said it. |

Vegas didn't deserve to win but I only watched half of the first and the second and from what I saw it looked like a good game. Leafs were playing decently well.

From my perspective Leafs were sloppy and gave up way too many high danger chances and they capitalized on some opportunities. Kalligren was REALLY good - Sandin had a rough night.
Loose Moose was WAY better when it was only the lower level and upstairs was Armadillos. Now both levels are Loose Moose but upstairs is way less rowdy and wild than downstairs.
We walked in the lower level and were about to get a drink when someone ran over to us and asked if we were with PWC.
I was too slow to stop my buddy from asking if it was open bar…..I’d have just said yep.
Needless to say we were asked to leave the private party and ended up in the upper level.
I am sure we missed out on open bar and a chance to just drink for free. I may not have even made the game had that been the case. Lol |

Oh I basically screamed that at him all the way upstairs. Rookie move - we probably missed out on an open bar & free food!
Oh and I saw some interesting jerseys tonight including a Toskala one that a guy was wearing very proudly. |

Ok I don't know if it was just because I was there....
Did they have an especially putrid game turning pucks over? Honestly, it was unbelievable. There were times they had complete control in their own zone and managed to throw it away. Justin Holl was better than Morgan Rielly last night. I felt sorry for Shawlgrin. The numbers won't do him justice.
Wedgie noted the 4 second icing... the one before that, with 1 minute left might have been even more galling.
It was a fun game, son was happy so it's all good |
