So I have been trying to appreciate "Animals". It is actually pretty good, took me a couple listens.
Also, I am finding The Division Bell was a pretty under-rated album. - Aetherial
Animals definitely requires multiple listens to really be appreciated. It went from one of my least listened to albums to maybe the most. Having said that, my Floyd listening trends tend to go through cycles.
The Division Bell is ostensibly a Floyd album but, I dare say, is actually a Gilmour/Wright project (no disrespect to Nick intended, but he's not a creative force). I enjoy it but it just doesn't quite match the albums with Waters. It's funny because I vacillate between TDB and AMLOR per which album I actually prefer - they both have some great tracks mixed in with some filler.
As per the most underrated album in Floyd's discography, IMHO it's gotta be Obscured by Clouds.
Should be a dandy tonight, or possibly a dull midweek snoozefest, or something in between.
I have to say, if I take off my Leaf goggles, objectively speaking I'm not crazy about Vegas' chances is this hockey game. I'm feeling Leafs in this one, in a big way.

Oh I passed the 6 mark before dinner arrived.
Loose Moose at 3 pm
Scaddabush dinner rezzy for dinner 515
Then the game.
The Leafs stole a point - Vegas had way more high danger opportunities but Kalli was really good.
Vegas wasn’t better (despite what others may say) they were gifted chances by the Leafs. If I was a Vegas fan I’d be upset they didn’t win in regulation. They failed to execute on breakaways and point blank chances. For a team that has won 7 in a row they sure looked very beatable from a Leafs team who clearly did not have their A game tonight.
Prediction - Vegas gets bounced in 1st round of playoffs - ya I said it. - Cush29

Don’t like all the positive spin the tsn panel put on this game. Leafs should’ve won. To many costly errors that led to all the goals tonight. They need to tighten that up. - bryant

Lots of grump in general after a loss.
They were playing their 3rd in 4 nights against a rested team who is also on a tear and sitting 1st overall in the league. For the most part they outplayed Vegas. Mental errors happen when you're tired, so it's not surprising to see a tired team make mental errors. It would be even better if we didn't see these errors so frequently when they were rested so that this was perhaps a more legitimate excuse.
That said, taking 5 of 6 from Boston, Carolina and Vegas with Kallgren in net for 2 of them, and with Kallgren sealing the Bruins game in the third to protect a 1 goal lead? I don't think anyone here would have believed it if you'd said it on Saturday morning.
There's some encouraging elements here - and among those is that the team is winning without Matthews or Rielly playing their 'A' games yet. Supporting guys like Kerfoot, Bunting, Jarnkrok and particularly Engvall haven't really hit their stride yet either.
I guess that key question is: do they have that ability to get it in gear and deliver consistently as a team? It's sort of obvious, but they are as good as advertised if only they could stop being as lazy as they are. - Monkeypunk
No grump here and the general atmosphere when they lost (at least around me) wasn't all that angry - more like there was a recognition of them getting a point and as you said having just played 3 in 4 nights and getting 5 of 6 available points with their 3rd string goalie.
I agree with the other points you have made but I sure wasn't liking their odds of any points the way they decided to start the 3rd period. lol
It was a fun game to be at but a bit sloppy which again 3 in 4 nights with travel in there etc. makes sense.

Yeah, for me it was all good. They got a point, my son's team won for his first game, we got on the jumbotron twice, and we were at the end where 5 of the 7 goals were scored
Of the 4 goals Vegas got last night; 3 of them were off Leaf turnovers. FFS
Sandin gave it away at the Vegas Blueline on the PP.. Holy crap the kid has to manage the puck better. Lilly hit a guy on a breakout pass in the foot at the line, big turnover and Marner with just a terrible giveaway at the Vegas blueline, then he stopped play an defense.
Leafs played well apart from those 3 plays, pretty much. Should have won, even though they had a 4th string tender in the net.
