Xhekaj didn't look turrible last night, Guhle and Harris didn't get a consistent try yet on the PP either... perhaps in terms of a veteran presence then yeah I guess I agree. if they can get an insane deal for Edmundson I understand why you'd want to do it but I think I'd value his presence on the back end more, even after seeing Matheson play again.

In the initial plan you didn't know the rookies would be so could, that you pick a guy on waivers that would do the job. I think the plan is to ride out the contracts of veterans and trade them a their highest value for assets and focus on devloppement

I know he was hurt for an extended period of time but that doesn't mean he's "injured often" now. of course the habs' medical staff probably knows more than we do, and if they deem he won't be able to stay healthy they might as well trade him, but that isn't necessarily the case.

I'm really surprised by his play this year, he hadn't impressed me very much before but now I really like what he brings, I hope he keeps this up.
