Credit to Guhle, btw, for being patient and starting the OT rush proper, btw... He could've cycled off for a change, but made the right move to wait and spring the offense. I'm legit loving this kid, most defensive potential in a long time. Almost to the point I'm not missing Romanov the way I thought I would be. |

they were already pissing and moaning about voter fraud even before election day. but the dems made it too hard on themselves by going with the same leadership as under clinton, ffs and doing exactly what the republicans were doing. pandering to the extremist in their party.

so you're still missing him? I really liked him but this group has compensated for his absence way beyond my expectations.

oy vey.
it's 100% a fraud, unless they're elected of course, then the voting would be legit.
edit: who represents the "democrat extremism" exactly? |

Absolutely. It's still really early, but damn this kid looks to be the best D-man we've seen since Markov. |

while he was at center I was starting to have my doubts about Dach being able to gain enough confidence and finally get his game going this year, but he's definitely found some at the wing. I dunno if the coaching staff is planning on putting him back at center on another line soon but if he continues to have chemistry like that with Caufield and Suzuki then why not keep him there, those two need a solid partner anyway, and Dach is a smart enough player to keep up with them.

and while the Sergachev trade was a very bad one, Sergachev isn't an elite out-of-this-world all-star defenseman either, he's good but I got over that trade a while ago.

Gramps was right at the beginning of the season but Dach seems to have found his game back and he brings some size to that line with speed to match the other 2 guys.
I wouldn't be in a rush to put him back at center either ... why break up that line, it's a genuine threat every night.

yeah, I figured it had something to do with your cynical sarcastic nature...
oh and won't you look at that, the hawks are also currently not too far from a playoff spot.

yeah, he's got size but he doesn't throw his weight around all that much, he complements his line with his playmaking abilities. Anderson on that line brought more physicality, but he lacked a certain finesse that the other two were looking for.

It's not so much about throwing your weight around, it's more about winning puck battles along the board and retrieving the puck ... bottling up the opponent in their own zone eventually leads to goals. |

yeah I know, just saying that with his size he could get more involved physically, but he doesn't really need to because of other elements he brings.
