Same old sh!t with Cashman, rumor has it LA is about to offer Judge a 8yr 330-350mill contract. Yankees could fill a couple holes with good players if they don't get stupid with Judge. |

According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the Astros "have identified Anthony Rizzo as their No. 1 free-agent target at first base."
Rizzo still has to decide -- by the 4 p.m. ET deadline on Tuesday -- whether to accept or reject a one-year, $19.65 million qualifying offer from the Yankees. If he turns it down and officially hits the open market, the reigning World Series champions will apparently be rushing to the phone as they look to potentially replace free agent Yuli Gurriel. Rizzo, 33, registered an .817 OPS with 32 home runs and 75 RBI over 130 regular-season games for New York in 2022 before tallying eight RBI in nine postseason games. - SABRES 89
Yankees gonna lose Rizzo & Judge

Cashman is a joke - SABRES 89
You mean his 40-person deep analytics staff that brought us IKF at shortstop isn't getting the job done? Shocking.
Word to the wise, whenever someone says results aren't important they should be fired immediately. The days of the Yankees being a serious WS contender every year are gone. They need to bring in deep, deep pockets if they want to compete with richer organizations like the Mets and Dodgers or superior organizations like Huston. They'll still be a top 10 team year in and year out, and it's easy to make the playoffs in baseball now. But, I'll be living off Bernie and the core 4 for the rest of my life with maybe one or two surprises thrown in. |

If the Sabres do call someone up, I hope they give a youngin a shot and not Sheahan or Bjork. Biro, Weissbach, Rousek, Rosen, Kulich are playing well done in Rochester. If they don't so much for evaluation and development. |

After watching a bunch of Amerks games IMO if the Sabres want to go away from the traditional 4th line and use there speed, they have the pieces in the Organization to do it. I would probably wait until after the new Year Or trade deadline to do it and let a few develop in Rochester for a few months. But they have pieces to roll 4 lines with speed a forecheck. Of course to do that there will be some butthurt people here, but it's supposed to be a year to Evaluate and see what you have. Well then let's see what we have. |

Gonna be a funny 2023 season. Poor Anthony Volpe. They've put so much pressure on this kid. He better field like Rey Ordõnez and hit like Jeter. |

I was done with him when they never brought Didi back. I know Didi didn't flourish without the Yankees, but he was great for us and never booted balls.
And, of course, the trainwreck that is Aaron Boone. Could have hired Buck. Could have hired any number of people who can manage. Instead, he wanted a puppet. I don't blame Boone. Boone is merely the puppet of the front office. |

Dominik Hasek presenting Roberto Luongo his Hockey Hall of Fame plaque. Can’t do much better than the dominator.
“That was incredible” says Lu, who had never met Hasek before today.
