Other than if you look at who they choose to run the team, Scott. I'm not sure why many want to blame Comcast. The provide the team with financial resources to form a quality NHL team. They have one of the highest payrolls in the NHL. Projected to rank 9th in player salaries. They've committed millions of dollars to coaches. They have quality facilities and give Fletcher and company an open check book to expand multiple departments of hockey ops. Including scouting and analytics. Is it really on comcast? - MJL
A fair chunk, yes. |

Are there? Right now most of the league is in LTIR. - Feanor
I don’t think there’s a lineup for teams that he could be dealt to, but there are teams in the coming weeks that will make deals….of course our Pathetic GM would be admitting he made a mistake with regards to the entire Risto trade and signing. |

I'll agree to disagree on the comparison but Dubas has led the team to a place with very little contracts committed beyond the next 2 or 3 years. I don't think he'd like Risto's deal and the cap space is just too much.
Also Muzzin is done. The injury is like cervical spine injury. They are going to re-evaluate in Feb. Which means a new time line essentially. My guess is he LTIR retires.

Yeah no thanks. We already have our version of that in Ellis. |

Dubas will have to be aggressive in what ever he does…he’s running out of chances. The kid Lyubushkin that went to Buffalo was a great fit last year…a cheap version of Risto. They need something…their back end sucked even before Muzzin went down. I think he was good when he first got to TO but really has struggled the last year or so. Maybe it was injury related because I think he’s been awful for a while. |

Could Seeler or MacEwan get them a late round pick at the deadline? |

Nothing like two guys that have played with the Phantoms this year to show case Frost’s offensive game…will he even see the ice for 12 minutes tonight? |

I think there’s still a chance with him to get moved….if it was 6 or 7 mil I could see it being a huge issue. But 5.1$ for a big right handed physical d man? there are a lot of teams looking for d as we speak….desperate. - landros 2
Speaking of which, any chance the Flyers can get more for Braun now than they might be able to get at the deadline?

Braun hasn’t looked good, could see a late round pick at deadline but nothing more then or now |

If a team offers a 3rd rounder I would pull the trigger. Anything less and I would wait until the deadline.

Honestly, we'd be better off swapping in Laughton to center on first line and dropping Hayes to wing seeing as he hates his defensive responsibilities.

I’d actually like to see Braun moved up next to Provorov on the top pair. I’d like DeAngelo off the PK completely. I think DeAngelo has gotten too lucky at this point in the defensive zone. I thought that shorthanded goal on Sunday was damning when DeAngelo didn’t even try to defend the scorer. I think DeAngelo might be alright next to Sanheim, although I don’t think Sanheim is the same player we saw last season. |

I would really prefer Hayes at wing, but the Flyers are unbelievably thin at center.
