Like I said the other day these 2 are not on the same page imo. Never have been.

I'm really looking forward to Brown being activated once his rehab assignment is done. Adding another 4th line scrub to the lineup will give the team even greater depth of players that play the right way. The Flyer way! |

Doesn't a successful team that sells out the building, and makes playoff runs bringing in more revenue. Make a bigger profit? - MJL
One would think, but clearly as long as the building is full, concessions are selling, people are paying up to $40 to park then Comcast appears satisfied with Dave Scott & Co. Clearly Comcast is ok with whatever profit it is making and hasn’t done anything to inspire confidence with the paying customers. If attendance tanks, then sponsors start backing off, then maybe. But the corporate ownership is based on black and red entries on a spread sheet. With individuals, there is more of an ego/passion thing that will impact public perception. The owner (person) wants to win and make a profit. The corporate ownership only cares about the profit. Sports seems too speculative for a corporation that owes it to its shareholders to be safe. |

Absolutely! That career 58.8 % faceoff wins will have Nic and Zac driving play putting teams back on their heels.

Players don’t usually come out and say it but their actions speak it in negotiations. It happens to teams like Minnesota, Edmonton and Winnipeg. The Wild gave $9 mil to Kaprizov based on a small sample size and Edmonton overpaid with 9 mil to Nurse. - Minnyhock
The point I was making is that he said it, publicly.

The Flyers attendance was down significantly last season. Minus playoff revenue. Profit is certainly not being maximized.

The Flyers current forward lineup is possibly the worst in franchise history. At least half are 4th line players or guys who belong in the AHL. And I’m glad they are getting that kid Seeler ice time over that washed up old fart Zamula.
So, no 2nd round picks til God knows when, no cap space and one of the worst rosters in the NHL. And still, Cuckles Fletcher remains in charge.
This once proud franchise is a complete joke. Either clean house or sell the damn team, Comcast. Or, at the very least, just pretend you give a damn. Mr. Meltzer, I believe you are employed by the team. Please explain to us why we should have even a shred of confidence that the current management group can turn this thing around. - BiggE

Haha. I doubt it. It is beyond ridiculous how bad a lineup we have to roll out there even though the team is capped out. I really don’t see a path forward for several years tbh. |

Empathy is "sympathetic understanding. Putting one's self in the other man's shoes"... I think you meant "apathy"... which is the point I am at. |

If you can’t get the feed don’t bother. Cbj has iced an ahl team and they’re all over the flyers. Hart has made a few excellent saves or this would be 3 0 already. Flyers have had barely any chances |
