Laczynski, Brown and Sedlak in my mind shouldn’t be playing anywhere near outside of the fourth line center role. Instead Laczynski plays wing anywhere in the bottom six and I feel like Sedlak is getting a pat on the back every time he finishes a shift. I’ve never seen a guy drive the net so well and have zero finish. Who knows what’s going to happen with Patrick Brown.

I just don't quite understand why he has such a large axe to grind with Tanner. The guy had both hips surgically repaired and has been given next to no ice time to get his timing and groove back. He has more upside than a lot of the bottom 6 guys yet he seems to be an afterthought. It's almost like he banged Torts younger sister and never called back.

I don't think the Beanpot is going to be renamed any time soon... or ever. It's not controversial.

I've got a bad feeling about this game. I think I'm going to make some herb crusted panko baked haddock and some sautéed green beans with garlic and julienned sun dried tomatoes instead of watching a train wreck.

I always dispised Torts because he always seemed to be whining about something and was very short with the media. I've given him some time to grow on me and he has a little. I appreciate his no non sense approach an keeping players accountable. Also like how he sticks up for players. But he's starting to go back to that whining little man like in NYR or Vancouver. Didn't notice him that much in CBJ.

Does he hold players accountable? He selectively holds players accountable. The same as every other coach does. Which is okay normally. Just don't BS that it's going to be different and start out with the splintered locker room nonsense.

You grab your ankles and pray the wind from Lake Erie isn’t blowing your way. Usually it blows toward southtowns going toward pa. Sometimes northtowns going toward Niagara Falls. The best part is if you’re up high enough and look toward lake you can see looks like a mountain wall. I can usually see it from my porch. The further away the better. I’m in north towns about 5 miles from lake.

I agree with you. I wanted Frost to be great but it’s just not there. There is enough sample size by now. Could he be an okay 3rd liner sure I guess but that’s probably his ceiling. reminds me a bit of Drouin. Unreal talent high point in jrs first rd draft picks but just not star nhlers
