If you do nto play in X number of games in a row, you can be loaned to the AHL for 2 weeks conditioning assignment... he comes back, Kraken have 1 game then it is the world Jrs camp

maybe not but if the choice is playing on the 4th line in the NHL, which he was, or playing big minutes in juniors, the GM has to think long term. Especially since he missed a season due to COVID and didn't start to play better until the 2nd half of last season

The Kraken will probably try to make the playoffs and they don't want to use a 18 years old rookie because of it
