Listening to Torts on the pressers, he just want effort now, (forecheck your butt off), the results not important. He know this injury ridden spent to the cap horror team will hit the iceberg with franchise worst losing đ streaks. |

At some point the points have to come and they're not for Frost. If Chuck had some balls he'd trade Frost. |

Current GMs been here 4 years. How many players on the roster? - rayc16
Maybe this can help ya gain some perspective. The Devils tonight had 10/12 forwards drafted by the organization. The Flyers had 3/12.
Most draft picks take 3-5 years to surface. Being as Chuck as only been a part of 4 drafts this should still be Hexyâs guys debuting
Not hard to figure out |

Frost for Middlestat. Classic change of scenery type deal for both. Would either team entertain ot? |

Another player who will win a Stanley Cup with another team like Justin Williams? Just to mention one. |

Only 4 drafts. So Chuck should have a job for another 6 years waiting on his picks?
Have a good night, I'm not debating with a rock.

Could be wrong, don't think Buffalo makes that trade. I would do it. |

No doubt, they are just thin at center throughout the organization. It is so important to secure worst record. Guaranteef to get Bedard and Famtilli to start replenishing the center spot. |

You keep waiting on Frost tho, he was drafted in 2017 đ
Chuck has another 1-2 years to see if his initial 2-3 draft classes pan out. Hextall left the organization with nothing. The rock would ignore the Devils comparison. You build through the draft. 10/12 tonight for NJ. 3/12 for the Flyers.

I donât see the Sabres doing that. Casey is 6 months older than Frost and has 5+ NHL seasons and has another year at 2.5 mil after this year.
Heâs finally off to a solid start. They could move him if he has a big year this year or next and wants a big contract after that. Two late bloomers that may or may not bloom. Casey is more skilled with more upside. |

You wonât get anything for him right now, either. His value is as a slight pot sweetener and thatâs it.
Heâs cheap. Might as well keep him if this is all your season is going to be unless you toss him in a separate deal.
Hopefully he pulls back on the sticks and his career gets going, because as of now nobody is throwing you anything for him. He could probably pass through waivers. The only reason he might not is if a team needs a warm body and he happens to be incredibly inexpensive. |

Hextall left this organization with plenty of assets. He was just too stupid to build a proper development staff and he tied himself to a coach who used a system that didnât benefit from skilled players and was easily countered by opposing teams.
Imagine if we gave the minutes used on Manning Hagg Macdonald filpula vandevelde goulbourne Rinaldo weise lehtera to real hockey playersâŚ. Itâs a travesty what Dave Hakstol did to this organization. And Hextall allowed it while assembling a talent pool that was rated top 5 in the league by nearly every rating metric and media outlet.
Hextall was bad for the Flyers, but the near decade run of first Hakstol as coach then Fletcher as GM has taken what was a pillar franchise of the NHL and turned it into retirement village for players and front office personnel. If Bettman wasnât such a moron that is in love with âhockey in the desertâ he could see the crater in Hockey Related Revenue caused by the ineptitude of Dave Scott, Comcast, Clarkie and the boys and Fletcher.
Opposing team operations could always count on a full building when the Flyers came to town and now the Flyers fan base has been beaten down by so much ignorance, stupidity and lies that watching it continue in person or on screen feels like an affront to our dignity.

This is correct, even Craig Button said this last year. Frost is just not consistent and his skillset is not translating to the NHL. All this nonsense about moving his feet and playing off the puck is just that, nonsense! No one would be saying anything about this if Frost was putting up points and making plays every night. However I hope Torts keeps this line together so we can once and for all put this topic to bed! |

Hakstol did a solid job overall as a coach here. He did more with less than more storied coaches have here. Got the Flyers into the playoffs with one NHL line and a vet checking center. Did a solid job developing young players. The reason why veteran stop gaps players were used was due to a lack of NHL ready young players in the system. This was caused by all the years of trading draft picks under Holmgren.
What system did Hakstol employ when he was a coach here?
