With Cates? I'm fine with it. Look, the whole 86-48-74 line was lousy in the Calgary game both individually and collectively (after being excellent in the game-plus they were together before that). No issue with the three players going to three different lines with the way it was going against Calgary. Tortorella said he might revisit the line as a trio again. As for tonight's game, there was no practice yesterday and the Flyers were the latter morning skate group today so the lines defaulted to what finished last game. - bmeltzer
I understand they were horrible last game, but this is the issue I have with the Flyers -- it there isn't sustained excellence they just go, they just move on from it. Also, MacEwan on any line except the 5th is a joke |

Actually Blow Joe's looked better than Crapitools lately. So they may be worst in Metro with the Flyers |

The biggest myth in hockey. That players like Reeves and Deslauriers create space for other players. - MJL
I donât think players think like the casual fan. I absolutely believe players like fighting. If men didnât like fighting, there wouldnât be boxing, MMA or random drunk fights in bars. Take fighting away and whatâs next to go? Hitting? |

Obviously, a lucky bounce but still a good sign. Some puck luck can get a player going. Build some confidence.

Some guys love fighting and know exactly why itâs part of the NHLâŚsome are fine with it, understand itâs roll in the game. Then there are guys that donât like it, wonât do it unless forced. Then the last group is guys that just wonât engage in it no matter what. Itâs purpose in the game has become less and less prevalent. As far as hitting , I donât think theyâll ever take hitting out of the game totally but I do think they will continue to add rules that will curb its use âŚ.you know for safety purposes⌠|
