Had a bad conversation this morning from an employee and got to fill out the paperwork to terminate a guys ass. Holy crap it was bad. HR is a fun occupation. - AdamFrench
The "old school" guys (players and fans) that believe in an "outdated code" are not big fan of players with huge personalities or people that like the limelight for the sake of it.
I liked PK, as a Habs fan, he was fun to watch, entertaining and I thought very likeable (and most important, always himself - no some fake front lots of players put on for the camera).
Hockey needs a lot more PK Subbans if they want to expand their viewership. - Mashadar

oh, good to hear, I was wondering if you'd be stuck in a hotel for months and months or something... how long is the rebuild gonna take? - Pat1993
at first they were saying things like 6 months, then they were saying things like a year, then they started saying things like a year and a half! but the bidding on the work went quick and one company is doing the tear down, mold remediation (i had mostly water damage in my condo), and the rebuild. apparently it takes longer if different companies are doing multiple things. they already started ripping the stuff out of our condos so i'm thinking under a year now.

PK is the direct opposite of everything that was drilled into their heads since they were 10-years-old.
So I get why he rubs players the wrong way... but NHL players are so (frank)ing bland and boring. If you take all the mid/post game interviews, and analyzed them, 98% of the answers are all the same across players.
All monotone. - Mashadar
I miss guys like Jeremy Roenick, Brett Hull, Tie Domi

I missed that episode, what hapened friend ? - Xizord
someone's condo caught on fire and a bunch of us in the building had our places ruined. mine was all water and smoke damage but pretty bad. most of my stuff got wrecked and the walls and ceilings fell in and stuff.
over the course of the next week or so i got to go back and save stuff like the guitars and some collectible records and stuff like that that made it.
but after a while they condemned the units in the front of the building for being unsafe now so i won't see it again until it's rebuild. or maybe if i drive by to see how it's going.

it's got 8 units in it. it's a pretty big building. at one point they were saying there was a slight chance the whole thing had to come down and be rebuilt. that doesn't have to happen so i lucked out there. who knows how long i'd have been out if they had to do that.

ah wow sorry mate, this sucks bad !
When I was looking in 2007 in eliminated condos right away (even if it would have been much simpler in the middle of a separation) as I ddint want to have to deal with that comitee... if I want to be honnest didnt want to deal with other people

not to linger on the subject, but were you able to get back some of your stuff, or was everything ruined..?
edit: just noticed your other post, that sucks man.
