The hubris of this guys is astounding.

Big next couple of games. Preds/Flyers/Hawks all teams we're top to bottom better then and should absolutely beat. Gotta take care of business and keep stacking the points here. The last few weeks of this month are a gauntlet for us.(Florida twice, Boston twice, Carolina, Dallas, and Pitt in a 2 1/2 week stretch with the Rags and Isles thrown in right before that too)

Idk, I stay off twitter cuz it would be another site to scroll all the time, so I just come here to see what the 10 of us are talking about.. and to get some deets from the hubris lol. He’s really into the Devils, and I appreciate that. The time he puts into it and transferring the info to this blog saves me time lol.
I guess I wonder why he continues to come here if the majority of us are varying levels of dumb. Idk lol. For me it’s just how many years this group of fellows have been here.. we’ve been through the Kovalchuk trade, and the dark days.. and here we still are lol

See I wouldn’t have known this until a half hour from now, unless I refreshed this page. Everybody wins.
I love Miles (to get around me saying I love Wood) but I think he’ll be a cap casualty next year. Just can’t justify giving him 3+ mil. I think we’ve seen his peak and he’s a 3rd-4th liner. We have a bunch of those guys that haven’t peaked yet and could be more, without giving them 3M. Give me Timo Meier and maximize the gift we have with Vanecek on a friendly deal, and then 2 of our D being on rookie deals the next few seasons. To me, the Vanecek/Luke/Nemec window is an important one. Things will likely change when they’re due to get paid. Thank goodness for Palat. I’ll never love that signing- unless he’s a substantial reason for a Cup win.
Jack, Nico, Meier, Bratt, is a solid core for the top 6. Fast enough, smart enough, and not devoid of scoring. Then you insert whoever for the other wings. I’d be pumped for that core to move forward with.

Damn, giving up goals in the first and last minute of a period is rough. We were the better team that period inbetween the goals but that's how it goes sometimes.

They seem crazy to be at over this stretch. Apparently at one of the recent games, the Toronto one I think, the crowd broke 100 decibels. It's great to have the barn packed again!

That was a terrible final minute of the game. Sloppy and a bounce.

That OT was brutal. No idea why we're starting Sharangovich instead of Bratt, and then all 3 guys puckwatching after the turnover. Great to get a point but thats an ugly ugly ending.

Also, I hate not trying to score on that final PP. We just sat back passing around trying to run out the clock. Play to win, dont play like you're afraid to lose.

I'm glad the team can make big comebacks but the first periods need to be worked on. Playing from behind every game lately is how you start losing a lot of games.
