I feel like you throw out a lot of a bad opinions out there. So you take in a lot of what you read on here and take those opinions and use what you’ve read and express those opinions like they were your own ideas.

That’s not to say there haven’t been some positive developments this season. Over the summer, Fletcher rightfully prioritized the reimplementation of structure, of compete, of work ethic after a truly embarrassing 2021-22 campaign. And the players, to their credit, have responded to that mandate. With only a few rare exceptions — the San Jose game in late October, the Pittsburgh Black Friday debacle — it’s abundantly clear that these Flyers players this year are trying. They’re hustling, they’re blocking shots, they’re backchecking and diving around and battling for loose pucks and getting in more fights than any other club in the league.

The fact that despite all that effort, they’ve still lost double the games that they’ve won speaks to just how deep the problems with their roster go. Tortorella is getting about all he can out of this roster — and this is all they have.

Sure seems to be a disconnect between Fletcher and Torts (and a disconnect between Fletcher and reality). Hard for me to see Fletcher still with the Flyers if they move him out as GM. What about Valerie Camillo? Comcast seems to see her as a rising star. What’s her relationship with Briere? With Chuck? Why do you need Chuck to oversee Flyers business operations if she’s already doing it? Or is the plan for her to take over for Scott? I think, and hope, a major shakeup is coming. I think Camilo is going to factor in in a big way.

The problem with Camille and Scott is their lack of any knowledge when it comes to hockey op’s. Business is their thing. Obviously very smart and talented people that are forced to take advice from others when it comes to what fans care about….which is the team on the ice.

The last game in TB. Labeled an embarrassment. Their most recent 10 game losing streak was better than their 10 game losing streaks last year . Clearly different. I don't know why a 24 game sample is compared to an 82 game sample last year. The effects of losing and struggling and how frustration sets in. Happens over time. It's cumulative and if it continues it will bleed into their "effort". Effort is not the issue and hasn't been. Talent is.

All true…the roster is less talented then last year. Problem is they sucked last year. Sure there appears to be more effort and a semblance of accountability and structure, but the team is going in the wrong direction from a talent perspective.

This is priceless and so very true. All we hear about from the shill announcers are the injuries, but the fact of the matter is even when fully healthy it is mostly crap. Although to be fair you may have to replace a crap or two with Hayes (PPG)/Farabee (not ready to throw in the towel yet)

Yes , I thought about farabee and Hayes but I chose to go with crap. Farabee has been a ghost but hayes has been scoring some points but has looked uninterested especially in his own zone

The thing is, I’d be willing to go through a multi-year rebuild knowing there was a plan in place…we’ve been through a decade of futility, what’s a few more years at this point? My sense is Comcast is afraid to do the full rebuild because they mistakenly think they’ll alienate fans further.

Ya ... whatever ... I don't know if you have been under a rock for the past few years but I have been stating Myers Sucks with a capital 'S' for over 2 years now. I dare you to find one article of post on the internet that has ever said this. Good luck!
