Just read some of Chucks comments. I didnt know Couturiers had another back surgery in October! I thought he just needed more recovery time? So…I guess we won’t be seeing him this season? Can anyone remind me of any players who have had two consecutive back surgeries and missed two consecutive seasons and then went on to play well after that?

Mario had two back surgeries, cancer, missed two consecutive seasons from his first retirement, and was still arguably the best player in the league when he came back in 2000.
