To be fair, they do have 6 RFAs that can be easily qualified. The other roster spots are just league minimum spots - Vesey, Harpur, Carpenter. Not hard to find a few guys to fill roles like that. Also $3.4M of dead cap that comes off the books.

It’s odd that people continue to come to a Site just to criticize the guy that runs it. Correcting grammar, spelling, etc. Who cares. Why come here just to try to impress others with your grammar and spelling corrections.

Agreed. Also, factoring in the playoffs they had some great fortune playing a parade of backups and tenders with zero nhl experience to make it to the conference finals. Then they played the Lightning without Point. I don’t think they are as bad as they are now but I think a lot of Ranger fans thought they were a heck of a lot better then they actually are.

The season Shesterkin had last year was probably the single best season a goalie has had in the modern era. Expecting anything close to that on any consistent basis is delusional. This season their defense has been better. Still not getting nearly enough production from Lafreniere, Kakko, or Kratsov. That is the most troubling for their long term competitiveness.

I think the young players will eventually find their game. I also think they will be a better team and find their foot hold in the next month or so. The only question is will it be too late as far as this season is concerned.

Exactly! Look at all the errors in almost everyone’s posts. Could you imagine being such a feedbag that you have nothing better to do than wake up and post sarcastic responses correcting spelling and grammar. It’s like telling others that you are an embarrassment to your dad and live in a basement without coming out and saying it.
