Is there really anything to say here? They play hard and their game has greatly improved since the start of the season, but they simply lack talent. Trade Frost for Tage Thompson tomorrow! In case people are wondering why I'm suggesting that this trade would be fair it's because Thompson was drafted 26th in his draft while Frost was drafted 27th. So please stop with the excuses! By the way, who decided to hire Scott Hartnell? He is brutal! Thanks!

Agreed, this team has zero top end talent…plenty of bottom 6 forwards. Frost has played over 100 games in the NHL, he is not an NHL player. He will never be better than he is now and can’t play bottom 6 defensively. He is a good AHL player, should get callups only. We have a lot of good prospects that never got 10 games in the NHL and for some reason this guys chances are endless. He isn’t the only one, just an example of how bad this roster is.

Torts’ message (playing hard) is going to get old, probably before this team has any talent whatsoever.

Such a shame too. Seems like a good kid & was rooting for him to break through but you’re exactly correct top line ahl player but no room in the show. Not able to produce in a top 6 role & not able to check in a bottom 6

Goes to show you that tanking is not necessary to get talent. It takes a good scouting department & a GM who recognizes talent. Maybe like someone who drafted Karprizov in the 5th rd. Just saying

Looking at his past …he wasn’t a big point producer anywhere he went until last year….some guys just develop a little later on…it sure would be nice if the Flyers could un cover such a player…when I watched Ratcliffe, (who scored more coming up) that’s whom I compared him too.

On another note, is Ellis a real person? Because I can’t remember the last time I saw him or any media member asked about him. My question: “Did Ellis have his career ending injury when he has traded here or did his catastrophic career ending injury occur after he got here”? Is he even in the Philly area? Is he rehabbing, seeing doctors, retired while collecting a paycheck?

For all the Seeler, Brown, Braun, NicD, McEwen, Sedlak are a joke talk & what a disgrace it is that a gm would sign these guys. These guys are the problem.

Agreed! I actually feel bad for Torts. He will get the most out of his players, but you can only get so much blood from a stone. Fletcher is a catastrophe as a GM. He is only a GM in this league because his father was very good at his craft. Unfortunately the apple falls VERY far from the tree in this case.

Perhaps Hexy drove the bus to the edge of the cliff, but Chuckles drove it off the cliff into the abyss. Plenty of blame to go around including the last couple of years of Homer's tenure. A total disgrace I say.

Time to get those heat maps back out. It’s one thing to not actually score, but to not be attempting enough shots from the net front and slot is just oof! Also the best shooters should shoot and shoot more often.

Unfortunately drafting is a process. Rarely do draft picks burst onto the scene right away so unfortunately where Hexy left us there was only one direction to go before some of chucks draft picks showed up to restart everything.

One can only hope, but I would love to switch out York for a guy named Caufield that Chuckles passed on twice.
