Peovy plays first line minutes here so people seem to think he’s a first pairing d man & he’s just so obviously not. Raffl played 1 line minutes here w G & Jake one year scored 20 goals but clearly not a first line player. Just cuz provy gets the minutes doesn’t mean he is worth it. Just like pukeheim & his 6.25 mil extension

My point was on a competent team he would play to his abilities. Provy is a above average dman. He is a star. I just don’t think the flyers use him right. I think he is always so worried about defense that his offensive game has suffered.

Provorov is a bona fide top pairing NHL defenseman. He has not had a strong game tonight though. Especially in the first period.

I think Provy is really good, but for the past 4 years he's been trying to be 2 d-men at once with the exception of his time with a competent partner like Niskanen that he doesn't have about.
