There are 32 teams in the NHL. 31 other teams would take him in a heartbeat. First or second line is not the issue. They watch the type of player, his skill, and his compete. And he meets all requirements for that. To say otherwise is just ignorant.

He is a top 6 forward, on a good team he is a second liner. He plays first line minutes here because we have no one else. To say otherwise is just oblivious. Cates & Hayes are the other “first liners” on the Flyers in case you forgot. No chance they play first line minutes on a good or half decent team. Only on dumpster fires. Tk brings more to the table than those 2 but still not a first line player on anything but a dumpster fire of a team
