Does that mean that hitting was not important factors in both games or in every game. Only an idiot thinks that hits equals wins. Only an idiot thinks that hitting is not an essential part of the game.

I think it’s obvious at this point Mitts and Olofsson are getting every opportunity to succeed due to the fact they each have an additional year on their contracts and they need to get any sort of value out of them.
You can’t healthy scratch a player that will be making decent $$$$ this year and next year.
Asplund is the guy who has to wear that hat. So be it.
If the Sabres are serious about winning this year though, neither Asplund or Vinny would be riding pine so Mitts can put up 4 even strength points in months |

Hitting is a part of the game, it is not “essential”
Have a good day gents |

They aren’t going to dress a guy who plays 0 special teams, doesn’t take face offs, and doesn’t score goals over guys who do.
Vinny does absolutely nothing |

Asplund is 2 fold
He's in a numbers game with 2 better players.
Mitts has 17 points this season. Regardless of even strength. He's helping the team win.
Same for olofsson
Points are points

I’m not a big Olofsson fan
But advocating for sitting him with 13 goals in favor of Vinny Hinostroza is absolutely galaxy brain stuff |

Peg'sville math - Boss34
The Sabres identity is a high scoring, great shooting team. They should embrace that. Sitting Olofsson would be asinine
Same with Mitts. |

Advocating playing Mittelstadt because he is on PP2 which hardly sees the ice and is on one of the worst PK’s in hockey is galaxy brain stuff.
There is only one spot for a forward whose only use is standing still on one spot on the PP. The Sabres have two. Pick one and discard the other |

He wouldn’t dress Andrew Peters in the playoffs bc it’s more important to have guys that can actually play hockey- as opposed to having a tough guy in the lineup |

Scream at Olo and Mitts like he did Afinogenov and Vanek and get 70 points out of them? |

Lindy wasn’t overly impressed with his boys’ lack of response to the Panthers’ response to Barkov getting taken out of the game by Hischier. |

The Sabres win because they score a lot of goals
Krebs
Asplund
Hinostroza
They don’t score goals
That’s why they sit
It’s really not rocket science here |
