Thays their identity. That’s how they are going to win games with how the roster is constructed

They don’t have the horses on D (defensively) or in goal to win games 2-1 or 3-2

Fair point. Neither of them have done anything to warrant being in the top 6, but neither bring anything to the bottom 6. It's a problem.

They definitely are, but they have been for the past few years. It's the other two that were question marks. The Jets have a great defense, no doubt, but you need more than Mike White or Zach Wilson. The Pats have a bit worse of a defense and a bit better of a QB. That all adds up to .500 ball.
