I'm not sure whether to put Hurts into the 'needs talent' pile or 'runs the talent' pile.
- TheSabresTaco

It's down to him or Mahomes for MVP. The media votes for it, and that's been their predominant story.

jost or girgens

who would you rather adams gives a 2 year extension to?

- homiedclown

I'd want to see a full season of Jost before making that call. It may be both in reality. Girgensons will want term. Jost probably only gets a year unless he keeps it coming.

Out of those two, Mahomes gets the MVP. The Eagles are a more talented team. Even with their soft schedule.

Would Jost take less than his qualifying offer on a one year deal?

Maybe getting waived this season impacts his thoughts on that?

Nothing like putting up 263 points in a bye week.

Woof.

Prior to arriving in Buffalo, probably.

If he provides that QO in value, which at this point is a total non issue, then no. But again, does it really matter.

You know what? I don't know. I have no idea.

It's either 1 year, 2.25 or two years for 1.8

I lost 2 payoff games by less than 5 points

I had robinson in both lineups so I lost 2 games for the stupid penalty at the end of the skins giants game

Jost, but prefer neither. Better ways to spend that $ in 2 years.

What are you doing for a checking line/defensive center?

You really think KA would offer girgensons more than a 2 year offer?

Girgensons is all about vibes and buffalo.....

Doubt he leaves, guy does his job.......

Also doubt they go 4 scoring lines without a old school LOG type line.

I think that Jost is the ideal 4th line center. He is a guy that has offensive upside but is very good defensively. He also skates well and fits the timeline. Sign me up.

This is true, aside from one key detail: Jason Botterill was the one who called the audible, not the scouting staff. It was his first pick as GM and he wanted Mittelstadt.

Marek: all of BUF's scouts wanted Necas at #8 in 2017 but they called an audible and picked Casey Mittelstadt

Speaking of management by coaches, and I don't know how big of a deal it really is, but Sean McDermott's record when it comes to challenges is pretty bad. He's 0-3 this year, and 6-20 overall.

I don't know if that really tells the whole story. It isn't uncommon for coaches to challenge a questionable play towards the end of the half because they are going to lose the challenge anyway.

Like I said, I don't know how big of a deal it really is. I also read an article that going into 2021, the all-time leader in Challenge win percentage was Doug Marrone, so that stat can clearly only be so valuable.

This helps explain why the Pegulas kept hammering the "communication" point after he was fired.

And why Forton was so emotional at the draft.

UFA most likely. Maybe a team friendly Jost deal, which means no QO (making him UFA). Let's see him a little longer before getting too attached. As we just saw, decent ones hit waivers frequently.

Just hope they don't go into the summer thinking it's Girgs for the 3rd straight year.

I don’t fully buy into hurts.

Mvp race I go. Mahomes. Allen. Then hurts burrow

Burrow has risen from the dead. I mean he never sucked. But the bengals were bad to start the season

My team also went off on a playoff bye week.

That includes Jonathan Taylor’s 1 point he got me. 😂
