The beautiful thing about sports is as more evidence is presented you’re allowed to change your opinion and not just be a fanboy.

Davis was an excellent 4th round pick and was a great role player under Beasley/Sanders/Brown his first two years

He’s absolutely underwhelmed this season and saying otherwise is just ludicrous

I think he’s a solid #3, below average #2 and not good enough to be the #2 option on an elite offense.

Winning masks a lot of deficiencies, as people get mesmerized by the bottom line result.

It should be troubling just how much is on Allen's arm and legs.

This team is built on two obvious concepts:

A strong defense and josh allen. Josh needs to be excellent, or at the very least, above average in order to win. The defense can usually keep the opposition to low 20s. Davis was supposed to have good hands. Mckenzie declined. Losing Cole was tough. Not utilizing Knox enough is annoying, as he's gotten better over time.

There are of course flaws and our WR room needs to be looked at in the offseason.

We can criticize the room and enjoy the ride as well.

Davis is ideally your number 3.

Davis is going to command 15 mil a year IMO when his deal is up. I don’t pay him that at all.

Plenty of season left to make a better assessment, but so far, I wouldn't want to spend much in terms of assets or dollars/term in a new contract.

Wrinkle is I believe he has one season left before becoming a UFA.

He does have a very low QO, which helps.
