Cocaine is about 20x the price of weed, makes sense. You can make more money doing that as you can use it as cut, the user still gets high but less real product is consumed. Trust me when I say there's a lot worse than fentanyl in your average cocaine bag.

But going back to the logic, it simply doesn't make sense as you posed it before in terms of weed. You can't make more money adding it to weed. That, simply put, would drive you out of business in weeks.

Again, it's like the overdose candy scares...does some idiot put a razor blade or some acid in a lollipop on Halloween? Sure. Is it common or a big problem? No.

I don't think it's necessarily intentional, cross contamination is the likely cause. You only need a couple hundred micrograms(a grain of salt is ~60mcg) of it to kill someone who has no tolerance to opioids. Drug dealers aren't exactly known for their strict adherence to safety procedures.

I've seen a few. Some have said that when people find out someone OD'd they ask where they got it from and they'd get way more business.

It definitely happens with heroin. It's like octane booster, but it actually works. It's super cheap and a tiny amount goes a very long way.
