I know it's not in the cards for tonight, but I'm really starting to feel that of all our massive stable of wingers Kravtsov is most suited to making the switch to center. If possible, that could open many options.

Rupp was saying that he needs to improve in the dzone as to why he hasn’t played every game. We can female dog and moan all we want about who plays or not but if the coach doesn’t trust you in the “200ft” part of hockey you ain’t gonna play regularly

I see the blog has been fun the first few hours of the am. If want to add to the fun, read Brooks' Post Sports+ column on Chytil today. Touches on a few things discussed yesterday, including the lack of response to Lafferty.

I expect Goodrow to center the second line between Law and Kakko tonight if no Chytil.

b/c krav played "some" center at the WJC 3 years ago means we can now slot him in at center. a guy who can't stay in the line up regularly is going to slot in at a completely foreign position

Based on what I have seen so far, his talent is there but he needs to get stronger for the NHL. What is he? 175lbs wet. Playing center would exploit his lack of strength right now even more.
He disrupted his growth with his own antics. So I would say he is a year behind with getting stronger and having a more complete game.

If the team comes out flat tonight and Gallant puts the lines in the blender, would I be offended to see Krav get a chance at center? Not in the slightest.

No. At everyone who was going off the deep end about Blais, Gauthier, Carpenter, and anyone else that was in the line up instead of Kravy. I offered this explanation and it was dismissed.

I understand this. My point was simply that if they were to decide to try it, I think VK's game translates better than Laffy or any of the other wingers we currently have.

JUST SAYING, center depth is weak AF, and he’s a player who was a center in the past (assuming beyond the WJC, maybe?).

Elias Pettersson is 6’ 2” and still supposedly only 175 pounds. Who’s to say it’s impossible?
