Habs are not making the playoffs, they can sign Horvat without moving anything this summer, this makes zero sense....unless this is the 2nd move

well i disagree, as if he doesnt sign there( Van) he will be traded and perhaps extended where he lands

Witht the 30 year touble of having / finding decent centers, if a 27 year old quality center only cost:

Savard, FLA 1st and Beck ( that still disnt play a game in the NHL)

I do it ( even if i know its not going to be a popular opinion), but they have to take Hoffman too lol

That + giving up assets for him is a no go for me.

Someone will make that mistake of paying him as a ppg centre when his previous best is 61 points, just like Calgary did with Kadri.

I just hope it won't be us.

that make sense too, but point is the " asset" we are talking about are none of the prime ones

its not Coco, Suzuki, Guhle...Slav, I would even add Harris and Hutson ( cause god do we need an offensive Def)

plus I expect we will replace FLA 1st while trading Edmunston and I think Florida will have a much better 2nd half
