Like you said Jan, it's unbelievable that Dec 22nd is the last time we are playing that team this season |

Catching up from the the last thread.
Why do we always go through this thing where we have a guy and he's the biggest whipping boy imaginable. Intolerable with his poor play. And then we move on and people inevitably think we should bring them back to replace a newer whipping boy.
Harpur has played 4 games. 11 min./game. Even plus minus, 6 blocks, 5 hits, 2 takeaways, 1 giveaway. Making league minimum or close to it. That's a perfectly fine start. What are we trying to replace him for? - Tonybere
This is fair. Staal and Harpur are the same. No needs to spend time and money on Staal. Let that die on the vine. Is Harpur good, eh not really. Do I care? Not really. He's shown more emotion in a positive way than some other(s) on this team. |

Othmann is one tough SOB. Can't wait to see what he brings to the NHL. He may not score as much as he does in the minors, but if he is even 3/4 that, it is a win.
To Tonybere's point about whipping boys:
Seems like a bandwagon. One person expresses a strong opinion on a player and then everyone jumps on them and it spreads like wildflower to the point I have witness the crowd at MSG booing the player when they are playing. It gets a little nutty to me. |

Yeah, that's nuts to me as well.
I have never booed one of "my" own players. Not even Avery who I also refused to cheer for. |

It is a weird mentality to me. You want your team to win, but you hate on a player as if you wish them to fail. Oh well. To each his own.
And Jan is right. The Patrick Kane talk will start up and be rampant soon enough. |

I’m sure booing your own player is not wishing for them to fail as much as it is expecting them to |

Blais seems to be out tonight.
On Othman he’d be the perfect call up if he was eligible |

Yeah he's their RW depth for next year. So that's assuring plus his cap hit will be a very nice 975k. Gotta worry about his Bonuses, but that's for next year. |

Not being in the NYC area, I can laugh at this one. Also helps that the Yankees are reserved a special place in Hell as far as I'm concerned!

Yes that’s been a problem lol
I’m not nearly the Met fan as I am a Ranger fan. So I barely shed any tears tbh. I think I watched 15 innings all year last year |

Yea. They aren't always one in the same I guess. I guess the extreme hate is a national sports past-time.
Now that Sammy Blais guy..... |
