People have a lot of different opinion about PK, but here is what stands out for me:
1/ In a boring "old school" league that just regurgitates the same quotes and has a "code" of being bland and boring, PK was a refreshing personality that did not adhere to those ideas. Yeah, he can be over the top, but hockey needs that.
2/ He was probably the most exciting positional player we had in many many years, yes with that came risk, but also lots of excitement and fun hockey to watch
3/ PK is a good guy and a community guy - did not matter what town he played in, he gave back a lot - especially to the kids. That is extremely admirable.
I don't get why people do not like the guy. |

Dadinov, armia, drouin, and hoffman (even if he has been a little more productive).... cannot wait for the turnover at the TDL and next summer.

I get where the criticism is coming from, he obviously wasn't always focused on the team, and often seemed distracted with building his own personal brand, but yeah I really don't get this intense hatred either.

he's been putting more effort lately though, and creating a lot of scoring chances. |

It's a foregone conclusion that Dindonov and Drouin won't have their contracts renewed.
As for Armia and Hoffman, we'll have to see if HuGo can make a trade happen (I'm not raising my hopes though). |

The guy fought how many of his teammates at practice??
Has there ever been another player that has agitated his own teammates as much as that guy did.
(frank)ing Pleky took a run at him, Pleky….who wouldn’t say poop if his mouth was full of it.. |

for one, i didn't mention it as a reason you don't like him, but its naive to think his skin color isn't a reason many dislike him, pete. |
