Another banner evening for the genius Ristolainen. I'm sure this is just selective complaining though, and we should be grateful he's improved our chances at Bedard by demolishing Hart.

Excellent decision making by Ristolainen, cross checking the guy into Hart. Looks like he got his bell rung there....Canes broadcast just openly says "I'm not sure how much brain power Ristolainen has..."

The Flyers top line of Farabee, Cates and Konecny at 5 on 5 through two periods have only attempted 1 shot on net. That's not a SOG but an attempted shot. I wonder who Tortorella is going to call out in the presser after the game looking for offense.

Easily the worst ever contract extension signed by a Flyers GM. How anyone ever defended it on here or on twitter is utterly beyond me.

I actually thought he had some good games last year…he was uneven and really inconsistent, but some nights he played well. This year, it looks like they are trying to make him into a defensive guy…which he is not. He’s offering no offence. And his physicality is even disappearing. The whole d corps has struggled, but with the commitment the Flyers have made to Risto, it’s not aging well at all.

Provy’s pass up the middle was roll on the floor comical but he’s a bon a fide top pairing 🤣

I've been told that Ristolainen is playing better and has been fixed by Tortorella and Shaw. for the first time he has the proper coaching. It's a fact!!!!!!!!!!

What can Torts actually say during this intermission? They aren’t not working…they are just vastly over matched. When you make this many mistakes…a really elite team will embarrass you. Hart kept it close yesterday….today they asked a kid playing his first ever game to do the same thing.

I’m keeping TK. With Sanheim’s contract he’s not going anywhere…but I still think there’s more there. Laughton as a 3rd line or 4th line guy is fine as well. When you talk about +\- the empty net goals, the matchups really can distort that stat. They really need to surround their decent contributors with more talent. With all that said…I’m not really tied to any one.

He will get a raise probably close to 7 million which is too much for a third or fourth option offensively on a good team so the organization should sell high this deadline

They also simply don’t have as much talent. To be fair if Hart didn’t stand on his head the first 10 games or so this team might very well have been on the losing end of some blow outs.

I think he’s their best player… I think he can be a point a game guy as he comes into his prime. If Hayes is worth 7 mil…..Konecny is worth 10.

I do think they could get a big haul for him….but to get better you can’t trade your best young players.

Oh my god guys, nobody means to hurt a teammate. Accidents happen. Jesus, you’d think Risto picked up the Canes player and threw him at Hart.
