I was looking for a silver lining. Then again, if it's so easy, why don't the Islanders do it more? Seems like they frequently get trapped in their own zone, trying to pass their way out of the zone, which passes are anticipated by the opponent's forecheck.

Typically he doesn’t shoot. He loves to look for the perfect dish. Would love for him to take it to the net and shoot more. It would actually help his overall game because then the opponents wouldn’t/couldn’t just play him for the pass which they do.

Beavillier has not just found another gear tonight, he's running N2O. It never ceases to amaze me how guys like Brock, Barzy and Beau have nights where they look sluggish but others where they are just flying. I know all players do but it seems the difference for those guys is so much more noticeable
