Luke Hughes is apparently the best of the Hughes brothers. Watching the US/Swiss game and he looks like he has a chance to be a generational defenseman. Of course, he will be joining the Devils soon. Looking forward to getting pummeled by the Devils for the next 10 years. - Phillywhiteout

FIXED! - THE EVIL WITHIN
Fletch is doing a great job with a stealth tank. Just needs to acquire more picks and we’ll be fine. |

yeah I agree with that frustrations. If they pick a direction then at least people can see where the team is headed and people are more patient then. - Aaron_85
So true. The org is such a mess. They obviously only care about ticket, merch sales, etc. We can argue about Hexy, Chuckles, etc all we want, but it all comes down to Comcast. There has been no direction so who knows when we will be relevant again.

You’re absolutely out of your mind if you think think this kid is the best of the bunch . If anything, I’ll guarantee he’s the worst. If you watched the last game for USA it would be very clear . |

I do hope Coots gets back on the ice before the end of the seaason. Missing almost 2 seasons would be a tough hill to.climb next season. - Trox88
I've always been a Coots fan but I'd be shocked if he was ever a factor again. Yes, he might come back, but at 30+ years old and the injuries, we sadly can't expect much from him aside from being a mentor to the younger guys. |

It's a long shot, no doubt. I think he could have value as a 3C assuming Gauthier can play center. 2 years off playing competively is just a long time. Too long. |

At this point when the leafs were in a similar spot I stopped watching a lot of their games. Wouldn't go. Didnt buy anything. You're right that money talks. |

Yes, a long shot indeed. So depressing to think a guy at 30 might never be the same.

It is a mess, and you’re 100% correct about Comcast, but they just might stumble their way into a rebuild. Or. They might actually see the light in purposely trying to rebuild. |

He totally controlled today's game and he is the captain of the team, but he sucks. Thanks! |

Absolutely! I'll watch as many games as I can, but haven't been to a game since before pandemic. I'm not a paranoid health freak but as I get older, I just rather watch games at home as it's much cheaper. I need to drink alot to get through the games the past few years

Yep! If they are making money, they won't care. Selling Gritty crap is more important than winning and that is depressing. As many have said, the only way they will rethink their approach is if nobody goes to the games. People will always go no matter what. |

I came on Hockey buzz to read about the Flyers. When I got to the comment section, I saw people defending Fletch. At that point I realized I must actually be in an alternate universe where I was married to both Liz Hurley and Sasha Grey, who happened to have raging cases of nymphomania. We lived on a deserted island where we were the only 3 people. There was a tree that grew pizzas and a river that flowed with ice cold beer. Instead of crap, the seagulls all pooped chicken wings and ranch dressing. I mean, if we're really going to go down the crazy highway together, let's go all in. |
