Look at his IG back when he was still playing. All about fancy events and meeting celebs.

Hockey was just his springboard

I think he wanted it all - having a successful career as a pro hockey player while being a trendy jet-set celebrity that knows how to make a buck.

I mean, in a way guys like Michael Jordan or Cristiano Ronaldo were able to do it, but I think in their case the money came to them, as companies adopted a more personalized branding to become their sponsors, whereas Subban was trying to build his own thing from the ground up.

That's where Eugenie Bouchard learned the trade.

and where she also shared deeply crucial aspects of her personal life with the rest of the world, such as the kinky halloween costumes that she wore every year.

11 goals for the US, damn lol. I guess we don't have to worry about the rise of the third Reich any time soon, not in the hockey world at least...

I was gonna say I doubt that this will stay a close game for very long, but I just noticed Slovakia beat the US 6-3 a few days ago, so perhaps this team has a few tricks up their sleeve and Canada needs to be careful against them...

canada lost to the czechs, too. this is prolly the best those two teams have been in a long time. they will play physical and try to muck up the game. they do have a few high skill players too

looking at how Slovakia is playing in this tournament and how the habs have sucked really bad recently I'm sure Slafkovsky wouldn't have minded playing for his country and perhaps help his team win a meaningful game or 2...

that represents an average of 4.5 points a game, but who in the NHL ever scores half a point...? no one, that's who. this kid needs to work on his game if he wants to play with the big boys.

Slovakia played a very solid 1st period, all things considered. at least on the Canadian side they seem to be aware that this probably won't be a walk in the park...

anyway they should bring back the country of Czechoslovakia, no need to have both Czechia and Slovakia, their jerseys and flags have the same colors and it makes things too confusing.

I wonder if Pete was attending any of the games of the tournament, since it's in 'Berta..? I think we haven't heard from him in a while...

oh, I thought I saw Edmonton earlier, never mind lol...

but ultimately they should unify and form one single province, this is too confusing.
