Difference between the Canes being a puck support team in the neutral zone (2-3 guys attacking the puck) versus the Rangers being a spread out team that relies on the cross passing. They will need to adjust in period 2 with a man that supports the puck above the Cane's pressure.

Piss poor period. Rangers lucky to be down 1. I want to why Trochek has to be stapled to PP1 when he misses the net way more than he should. The 2nd goal; Laf, Miller and Trouba all just watched the Canes execute that play like it was a practice.

I will admit, Trouba's positioning was bad. Too deep when no on was behind him. Necas was above him.

Name me another team in the NHL that this much difficulty scouting, developing and deploying forwards they have drafted? Going on 26 years. 3 of them have been good. 2 of the 3 were traded at their lowest value. The other is Kreider.
