I rather have Kampf, Engvall, kerfoot or holmberg as my bottom 6 centers. I think if the Flyers are looking to trade Hayes its an off season move to someone like SJ, Anaheim, Chicago for a C prospect and like a 4th round pick. A team thats not really a contender yet but needs a NHL player/body.

For those teams you mentioned, it would be another Gostisbehere type trade. Flyers would be the ones giving up picks for the privilege of dumping off the salary.

The Flyers would have to include a quality asset to one of those teams to take Hayes. Then there is the matter of his L-NTC where he can submit a 12 team no trade list. I would bet those are the kind of teams on his list.

If hes seriously unwanted in Philly then its possible he wants a better scene. I mean if I'm getting paid 7 million to be on a losing team I might as well do it in California and goto the rink in flip flops lol

It might be. Hayes still can play though so he's not a full cap dump. I definitely could see a 2nd going with him though.

Guessing most everybody w/ a NTC has Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Ottawa on their lists, so that's 4/12 already.

Then you have places like Buffalo, Detroit, Columbus and St Louis that are pretty low on the fun scale, so that's 8/12.

Vancouver and Seattle don't exactly seem like Hayes' scene, so 10/12.

Would he want to freeze his ass off in Minnesota? Probably not, 11/12.

And nobody wants to go to the Islanders, so 12/12.

I definitely wouldn't ever want to live in Texas, Florida, or California. St. Louis would be my absolute nightmare destination tho, so that goes right to the top of the list.
