part of a rebuild, casual fans disconnect for a while. We all knew it would be painful for a few years, comes with the territory of drafting top 5 for a few years.

And let's be honest...they are drafting early again next year, it will take a few years before their new prospects grow up and take on a leadership role.

I think Heineman is ready yes. he would have stayed in Mtl this year if not of the 15 NHL contracts they already have up front.

also depends who they draft this year to be honest, if they get lucky and get Bedard...it changes a few things but with Fantilli, Carlsson, Dvorki, Benson or Smith, you will have to wait another year IMO

Edmundson is having a dreadful year.

Of course, he's been out for a while missed camp and everything.... but the defense looked better without him.

I hope someone panics enough to give us good value despite the drop in his play.
