Got to admit, there are times when I feel one of our own may have to injure Rielly. |

I’ll have to go back and look again, but from what I remember holl covered his side and rielly was both not in his position covering the goal scorer and up near the neutral zone when the puck was down low.
I’ll double check but when I watched that goal you don’t even see rielly in the picture because he’s no where to be found. - bryant
There are more than two people with defensive responsibilities. Rielly took a man who had the puck between the circle and the blue line. He went too high. Nylander, as the centre probably should have been on Forsberg or helping out down low or someone should have recognized that Rielly had gone after the high guy.
It’s not quite as simple as Rielly had just gone off for a skate. |

Okay you gotta pick one to start game 1 in the playoffs. Assume both are playing well and not injured. I take Murray without question. - Aaron_85
Theres questions
But we already know if both are playing well, it will be murray. |

Not a question. If Murray is healthy, he's playing with all the experience behind him. |

Better than you on the ice lol - Aaron_85
Maybe but maybe not!
The boys gave me the golden helmet as player of the game so…..
And it’s such a pos bucket.
Old Jofa, spray painted gold with some blue MVP on the front and back. Chipped to poop and tight as hell.
The rule is you have to wear it for warm ups but since I’m the goalie I have to wear it during post game beers. I wore it with pride! |

I"d prefer to have won if I"m being honest. I just watched the video of the GWG and it stinks. Puck off the back boards, my D man should be first to it but he turns the wrong way and is lost, their guy beats him behind the net and blindly throws it towards the front of the net where it goes off my D mans skate and beats me 5 hole.
Yuck.

Unless there is a huge gap between Sammy and Murray I start Murray since he's "been there and done that". |

Exactly, it was a broken play where they were all out of position. I think the pass went off Rielly in a weird way and everyone was in no man's land. It happens, but goals are rarely one guy's fault, unless people are looking for it to be that one guy's fault...
That being said, I didn't love the Holl Rielly combo, the two don't seem that comfortable with each other yet. |

Exactly why I do the same - the only reason I wouldn't is if he's really struggling right before game 1 and Sammy was on a heater.
You have to stick with the hot hand in that scenario.
