Jesus I just looked at the two games today. Talk about two god awful, who gives a (frank) matchups. I guess maybe people on the West Coast care about San Fran and Seattle (even though it's a rout), but how many really? |

How much pressure to succeed is there really?
We were dead last 120 games ago.
Expectations are unrealistic to actually make the playoffs. - Boss34
expectations can change if the team overachieves
we have 5 guys in the top 46 for nhl scoring
that may not have happened this late in a season since the great one was skating for the oilers in the 80s when there was 21 teams instead of 32 |

Really wasn't any pressure to make the playoffs in the beginning. But as this team started exceeding those expectations it should have changed a bit. |

Don’t forget the Norris candidate and what power has done as a rookie.
Adam’s SHOULD get this team a d man!
I can deal with the 3 goalie rotation.
I can deal with the forward rotation to make 3 goalies work.
I have had enough of the defensive Jerry rotation. We know what we have in Boosh, Pilut, Bryson, Joker, Clague
All he is doing in running power and dahlin into the ice with unsustainable ice time.
Grow a pair and make a swing for a d man!
Samuelsson. Dahlin
Power. Upgrade
Pick a Jerry. Joker.
Is that too much to ask? |

Not sure if jerseys are available for sale, I think it may be just the players wearing them in warmups tonight (probably will be an auction for them).
There are tshirts that come with the ticket package, and I think you can buy the shirt separately.
Edit, from Panthers site
“ During warmups, Panthers players will debut custom ¡Vamos Gatos! warmup jerseys exclusively designed by local artist Carlos Solano, which will be available for purchase immediately following warmups at FLA Live Arena's Inside the Boards. Limited-edition Carlos Solano-designed ¡Vamos Gatos! t-shirts and pucks will also be available to purchase at FlaPanthers.givesmart.com, with all proceeds benefiting the Florida Panthers Foundation.” - Ratsreign

Weren't the expectations/models putting them around 85 points? They are at an 86 point pace. Better extend the staff before it's too late.

I know the Jags have the stud QB in the making, but what a nothing franchise... I suppose we all start somewhere. |

He'd be a damn good prospect for them to take, as would the kid from Hamburg, among others. |

Maybe watching from a box did something for the kids.
Looks like we're getting Sarros tonight, too. No rest for the wicked. |

Sure, but I am sure they weren't expecting so many to blow past expectations on the ice. Could have making 1 D move taken away a few more High Danger shots, or bad turnovers that have led to costing us games. Are goaltending is shoddy at times, but are Defense or team defense is horrible. Once teams take away the boards or our fast break we are pretty much toast. We don't handle puck pressure in our zone very well. |

Sounds a bit like you want them to play a bit more of a defensive style.
Their style of play means more high quality chances against.
It's also why a defenseman like Lyubushkin was a bad fit.
His style of play is almost like it's 4 against 5 offensively while he's on the ice.
That kind of defender doesn't work with the style of play they seem to want to play. |

Well when you have a known weak spot, usually you try and make things around that a bit stronger to offset that. |

Think everyone agrees that the defense needs an upgrade.
I'm not entirely sure the classic stay at home defender is the answer, unless he's an excellent skater, due to the Sabres desired style of play. |

I am starting to agree, they need a strong skater that can play a 2 way game. Dumba might fit and a younger guy Fabbro, don't like him but Klingberg. |

The way they call the rules now makes it difficult for defenders to clear the front of the net, as you can't just endlessly hammer the forwards.
They need a defender that can keep up with the pace the Sabres play, and roam from a skating perspective like Power and Dahlin do, so when those 2 do roam, the other defender can get back in time to break up any opposing rush chance. |

It's a unicorn ask, but it's why the name Devon Toews comes up as a point of reference. |

There's teams that have young RD that could fit the bill, and RD that are blocking them. It's can you pry them away and are you willing to pay a price. |

Reasonable post.
Going into the season though, goaltending.....was an issue |
