Maybe it should be. The bar was certainly lower over the summer, everyone seemed to be in agreement they hadn't assembled a playoff caliber roster. At worst I guess you could say they've met expectations, but you really don't think they've done better than that?

They changed because this team was 4 points out of the playoffs with games in hand.

Now they are all but out again and closer to 14th place then they are playoffs.

The good we’ve seen this year is very good and very promising. The bad we’ve seen shows we’re not ready, but close.
If Quinn and JJ continue to progress, we have a deadly top 6. Realistically, with depth Jost would be a 4th line C.
We need a Mitts upgrade and some toughness in the 3rd line.
Asplund, Hino, Okposo, Girgs, mitts, Bryson will all be gone next year.

Power will have a full season under his belt.
Samuelson will have a full season under his belt.
Cozens has show us why we took him at 7
Joker is a very serviceable 3rd pairing guy
UPL is a real goalie
Tage is a stud
Skinner doesn’t completely suck
Tuch can be a beast and is better than we thought
