I just see more of a grinder with a really good shot with him. Nothing wrong with that either. One of my all time favorites was Graves and that was basically his game. Wasnt the best skater or puck handler, but was strong on his skates, battled, and had great hands. - mdw7413
I feel like once we won that lotto everyone expected McDavid or something like him because he was 1OA pick. Some guys just take longer to truly find themselves.
Tage Thompson and Nischuskin are prime examples of this. I think if we forget he was 1OA for now and just let him grow maybe it’ll help. And have some patience and not say screw laf
Hard to believe he forgot how to do all of that. Some blame has to go to Org too. Like the forwards almost always fail. Especially the one drafted in the first round.
It certainly is. Imagine choosing to sign a contract in Ohio. Calgary must be pretty bad. - JRR1285
Haven't been there, but it's a cow-town. Texas north. Supposed to be a beautiful, fun city. But, if you grew up in an urban American city, it might seem like a hick town.

He's going to get going at some point. Whether it's with the Rangers or not is all there is to it.
Yep like Chris Kreider. Epitome of failure - Slimtj100
Chris Kreider, the exception. Not the rule. You want this list of first round forwards that Rangers have had issues developing? Pretty easy to rattle off.

Who you want traded. So is he not good enough to keep or good enough to be the centerpiece in a deal?
Also did we forget that AV and Quinn refused give him minutes? Like that happened. I didn't dream it correct? - tomburton99
This one isn’t about me lol you said we never develop 1st rd forwards, I gave you two of them. You’re basing this on Lias probably, which I know you despised at the time
I mean our 2 first rd D prospects have hit a different level already in the NHL but let’s not count those guys - Slimtj100
Kravtsov and Kakko are really coming around too
and we spent some of the morning wishing we could send Lafreniere down to AHL, where Kravtsov's biggest problem is that he wanted no part of being there, he'd rather be in Russia

This is why we hate this place lol blanket statements of negativity that are just not true

it's kind crazy how we're still doing decently in the standings with kakko/kravs as our top 2 RWs right now with neither of them putting up a ton of points. if they pan out we really got something cooking here

Kravtsov makes me tingle. He passes the eye test game in and game out. He's gonna start potting some goals.
