He got the term and the money, Minnesota has been Fletchered.

Time will tell. People said the same thing when he signed Kirill for 9 Mil. Nobody is saying that now. Boldy, JEE and Kirill are the core going forward.

Flyers supposed to be hard to play against. But vs. Leafs and Bruins they look league worst.

It’s hard to be hard to play against when you can’t keep up with the other team.

Why was Hart pulled? He wasn’t the problem.

Don’t care what people said, this kid ain’t Kiril. Good player but pretty careless contract to give out, if anything you probably break even on it or he slightly outperforms it. When you give up the term and money you’d hope it’s to an Elite player.

The Bruins aren't a team that blows you away with speed. They're just surgical. Support all over the ice and they make high percentage plays.

There is a point where you can’t overcome a more skilled team, the best team in the league as well. And the bruins play hard.
- ClaudeFather

Also, to be fair, the Bruins have had everyone else number this season.

Other than the obvious talent and depth that they have it's about coaching. Both past and present.

Yea, for the past decade they’ve always been one of the most structurally sound teams

Didn't the Bruins just get shutout at home by the Kraken?

Unreal it takes these expansion franchises about two weeks to build a better OrgIzation than the Flyers.

Nobody says he’s Kirill. He put up big numbers at age 20. This year he’s playing alongside average players and still has good numbers. If he stays healthy and continues to get better, it will be a good signing especially in a rising cap environment.
He’ll still be in his 20s when it expires. Imo a good signing.

It's one of those contracts where you're projecting that he will continue to progress, and you can save down the line. The kind of deals you have to make and hope you're projecting correctly.

Flyers are certainly saving big on the TK contract right now.

Old school archaic thinking.
What does a 20 goal 50 point player get? That’s boldy this year. Even say his floor is slightly better than that over next 7 or so years and he’23 goals 60 point player. What that worth? That’s about 7mil. And that’s his floor at absolute worse? What’s his ceiling? What’s his probable expected average? Pretty safe to say 25/30 goals 65/70points? 7 mil is a great deal. Especially considering cap increases.

If anything it’s a slight underpay at best

Or you could wait and sign him to 8 year deal when he’s turning 30 like coots 👍🏻

Don’t listen to flyer fans. They don’t get it. They think coots deal was good.
