Query: Don't they have standard entry level contracts that make it so whatever they get from another team will be pretty much what they can get from Buffalo? Even if they are free agents? I don't know the answer to this question but I thought that was the case.

They're is a contraction of "They are"

Sorry but it makes me even wackier than I already am to see so many of the people on here who write "their" posts with one of these errors. "They're" lacking in basic English skills it seems. Very true Boss, but a team 18mill under the Cap should be able to find away to get rid of a player if need be, by buy out or retaining. The Sabres don't want to do that so here we are.
