This is also true. My only slight qualm with last night, though, was the video montage had very little of - IMO - Millers best run: the Olympics. Understandable why not, but I wanted to see some of that. Otherwise I give it full marks.

I also cannot tell you how hard I was laughing watching Tim Connolly come out on crutches. One of the moments of the night for me. This guy just loves the DL.

I met Aj Mleczko from the Islanders broadcast last night (they did their show 3 feet behind me). Olympic gold medalist, whipped Canada, knows her hockey, and she was asking me Dahlin and UPL questions. Was frank anout her team, too. Disappointed in their year thus far and inability to score.

She was incredibly gracious because I was semi bugging out when I realized she was a gold medalist. She was pretty keen to be in the arena to support a fellow Olympian, Ryan Miller.

There were a good amount of cool things last night that made it a great night.

Also, last night was the 1st game all year the opposing team had their broadcast in the Sabrers arena.

Imagine if the fans had a joke submittal to the all star game and you got to pick one guy from each division and those guys were risto, bogo, myers and kassian

Off topic: the NHL needs to figure out a way to get these local cable broadcasts on the main streaming companies. You can get them with these 2nd tier companies like Sling and Fubo, but they need to get on platforms like Hulu (aside from ESPN+ broadcasts) and YouTubeTV.

I did a free trial around Christmas time to get NHL Network for the World Juniors. It worked okay. Had MSG too.
