I don’t see a debate between kessel and giroux tbh. G takes that. Kessel has two cups as supporting cast. When he was the man in Toronto he was terrible. The guys claim to fame is avoiding going into corners to avoid getting hit and therefore setting the record for consecutive games played. G gets a bad rap imo. He is an exceptional player who we just didn’t give enough of a supporting cast to.

Exactly. Kessel has 97 more goals and 13 more points in 188 more games. I don't think anyone in their right mind would say Kessel is a better player, or ever was. But to say they aren't in the same category is not exactly fair.

Toews: Conn Smyth, Selke, 3 Cups as top 3 player, elite defensive player and phenomenal in international play. Toews is better. Giroux and Kessel are debatable so we’ll have to disagree.

Yes Claude Giroux is better than Jonathan Toews. Good for Toews for being a large piece to the Black Hawk dynasty but as the players faded for that team, so did he. Giroux has never faded.

The only player in the 2006 draft class who might take Giroux’s spot as second best player isn’t Phil Kessel or Jonathan Toews. It’s Brad Marchand. I give G the edge because he was a center most of his career and could have won the hart twice.

They're horrible. Black lettering on dark orange background on a black jersey. Who thought of this arrangement? Fire them... but then again, it's the Flyers who reward incompetence in every way.. even jerseys.
