I am a big fan of Toews. I think he's better than Marchand. Partly because in his prime you could argue he was a top 5 player in the league. I dont know if Marchand was ever in that type of conversation.

Brad Marchand is well above a point per game player since the 2016-17 season. He even has a 100 point season under his belt. The only thing that gets in his way is he himself.

It shouldn't. He played over 1700 games. Most ever by a player.

Absolutely hes a talent and maybe top 10. He doesn't play center though and wasn't close to as good as Toews at his best. A more prolific scorer for sure. Not as good defensively.

Is Sanheim seeing consistent PP time or is Torts just adding him from time to time? I feel like his offense has dried up since putting him on the PP.

This will be the 7th straight year that Marchand will average more the a point a game….Toews has never done that, once in his career….I just quickly looked at Toews offensive numbers, very good, not great. I will grant you Toews was a fantastic 2 way Center…..but I’ll take the licker…

I think Anaheim was hoping he would perform well and they would get a lot at the deadline. I guess Klingberg should have taken whatever long term deal he was offered last year cause no way he gets a massive deal this one if this keeps up.
