Agreed that is a sweet jersey.

I have one of the Centennial Classic jerseys (a Matthews) and I will say they are way nicer in person than in photos. The name/numbers on them look amazing.

Having been at the outdoor game at BMO field when they wore these it has a special place in my heart.

I also have a pic (Selfie) from that day of Lanny McDonald and I in the stands - I'm not sure which of us had drank more but it may have been me beacuse the pic looks like it came from the potato cam.

I'm going to reject this right away, simply because it has blue skates.

But if we are trying to enrage other fanbases, how about we do something similar to World Cup (soccer) jerseys - put 13 Stanley Cups on the bottom of the jersey.

We wouldn't even be breaking new ground - the Islanders say their four stripes on their shoulder represent their four Cups.

I just don't like having a third colour like silver on the jersey. I'm a purist and think it should be blue and white. The Leafs and the Wings are the only two teams with just two colours like that.

PS I went into the Sportchek hockey section the other day and there were Leaf jerseys everywhere and I had to run out of the store to avoid buying one.
