This game definitely will have a playoff-feel to it. Two highly skilled teams. Should be intense, physical with a bit of bad-blood between the two teams. Jets have a pretty tough team, I hope the Leafs can match it, or at least provide the necessary push-back. Jets will be hitting(hard) and will be crashing the net often. This will be a good test.

….yes this happens every year! Leafs start stong because the top players are familiar with each other, having played together for years. Then other teams get rolling and tougher to play against because they start to get familiar with each other. And, let’s be honest, everybody know the best way to beat the Leafs is play them tough! Lastly, having NO defence that can run the power play is a serious issue. Happily, after this years early departure from the playoffs again, Dubas and Keefe will be gone. Don’t get me wrong…..love the players the Leafs have, they are just the wrong recipe to win in the playoffs……and playoff success is what it’s about, isn’t it??
