I love my bro-in-law but he went from a dude from Elmont who loved Public Enemy, Anthrax, NWA and Slayer never going to church and not ever caring about politics to a Stadium-country lovin', Evangelical for an hour on sundays, wont watch football anymore because of kneeling, thinks all teachers are gay, Lets go brandon flag waving pickup drivin, whoopi goldberg hatin' everything I dont like is fake news, anti-vaxxin Floridian

he's very cool though

How one goes from NWA and Public Enemy to that is beyond me . Although Public Enemy and NWA were definitely political.

polar opposites. the only thing he was missing originally was RATM

I have to admit that I really like the Kachina jersey. It's a love or hate thing. No one is on the fence about it

That I won't disagree with. People either love them or loathe them.

I have the same theory about the Mercedes G-Wagon. I never met anyone that didn't either love it or think it looks absolutely terrible.

I had my American Flag on my stoop tucked into my front hedges because it was really windy and I didnt want anyone getting smacked in the face with it and he thought I was making some kind of lib protest

I think it looks terrible but it's sole purpose is a status symbol. It's an SUV that costs as much as a 20% downpayment on a modest nassau county house No one drives it because it's a practical SUV.

It also gets like 15mpg on the highway

I like the way it looks, but I wouldn't buy one unless I hit that MegaMillions jackpot

Not much of a fan of his sound, but respect the hell out of him. Watched a talk he gave augmented by live music. Fantastic.

Morello is a little far-left for my taste, but he's a pretty intelligent guy. He's got my respect, just don't agree with him on everything.

My bro in law is that kinda guy, but does not have social media or anything. He just thinks the same way. Also somehow he's a vegetarian because meat is inhumane. Not sure how those two mentalities coexist, but i digress. The point though is that Killing in the Name of is on his workout playlist and I don't have the heart to tell him what it's about.

His grandpa was a police officer (who has definitely told me stories about police brutality he's been involved in against certain communities without realizing how bad it sounds) and he thinks his grandpa is some sort of super hero

Same. Don't think there's anyone I agree with about everything.

This doesn't surprise me. But did you get Cher to respond to you like the esteemed Chiefs?

Didn’t realize it was possible to respectfully disagree with someone on the internet nowadays

lol the lead singer, Zack De La Rocha, is literally a descendant of Mexican revolutionaries. Their whole thing is far left, anti fascist/capitalist/police state/etc politics. Like, every single song

Somewhere I still have the screenshot of the tweet from Aries Spears from MadTV telling me "I hope you get ass(frank)ed by a gorilla"

I don't remember what I said anymore but clearly it wasn't to his liking
