it's pretty clear that TJ wants Kane, Tom doesn't

I think those opinions have been expressed about a billion times

but, what do we THINK the Rangers are gonna actually do?

that's actually an unapproached topic

- jimbro83

Chytil is only a prediction too ffs lol I would love nothing more than him to the beast you all think he can be.

Drury is definitely kicking the tires. I don't think he is going to pay Chicago's expected crazy ask unless Dolan pushes him. My bet we pick up depth players like last TDL.

We will see. But they are the Leafs. Top offensive talent but will never do anything in the playoffs because their defense is bad
- mdw7413

Turns out Giordano wasn't the answer for the Leafs.

Reality, imo, they pick up utility players no big splash
- mdw7413

I think he goes bigger this year. Kane or not. I loved me some Frankie V, but higher in stature than that

3 pieces I think

-Kane or higher end winger, maybe even center where they move Fil to the rw

-Kulikov or Gavrikov type 3rd pair LHD

-And a depth forward if they no longer believe in Blais. Which is hard to do lol

Is my wish list

I think nyrangers9479 made a valid point when it comes to Chytil, we have nothing coming along the way in terms of prospects down the middle, but we actually do have more wingers coming, they can't trade Chytil and I think they know that

They keep talking up the 3 name kid. Bryce something, I can’t remember

I get it tho with Chytil. I really think moving him to the wing may be the best option just so he gets top 6 minutes. He is the best of the kids atm, definitely not denying that

My best guess is:

1 of either Kane or Tarasenko

1 more depth piece, probably a 6th Dman

If no Kane or Tarasenko it will probably be 3 moves similar to last year

I don't see how Kane or Tarasenko fit unless a third teams gets involved to further reduce the cap hit.

If we get one top 6 forward and it costs a roster player (say krav is involved), then we still have a depth issue

Rangers counting on him to be that center though. He's improving but really needs to get better at draws this off season. Not a stretch to ask a center to win draws, especially if you think he can be the 2nd line center.

They can fit a Tarasenko and a depth player if St.Louis eat 50% of the money. With Kane, it's just Kane because of his cap hit. Plus 1 of those players is still somewhat good. The other is not.

More or less this year i mean (moving Fil there) Not permanent. The biggest problem this year is RW. Theyre not getting enough production there collectively

Chytil and Krav had a lil something last game and yet he broke them up too

They free up a little money with one simple move. Or I should say 1 player moved via trade or waivers frees up money...

For right now I’d try something like this

Laf Zib Kakko
Panarin Chytil Kravtsov
Kreider Trocheck Goodrow

Something else we don’t talk about much is we need a complete overhaul of our 4th line. I’m talking all 3 players need to be swapped out. If u want to say when Gauthier comes back or at the deadline we add someone so Goodrow bumps down to the 4th, fine. But we still need 2 other players than the combination of Brodzinski/Blais/Leschyshen/Vesey. I think Nick Ritchie is someone we should target, plays a playoff style game and can chip in offensively.

Have no idea. When I mention Patrick Kane is currently bad, 2 people lose their minds.
